What is the specific meaning of the air volume parameters of the cooling fan?

by:TOCH     2021-03-26
The air volume of a cooling fan refers to the total volume of air sent or sucked in by the cooling fan per minute. If it is calculated in cubic feet, the unit is CFM; if it is calculated in cubic meters, it is CMM. The air volume unit often used in radiator products is CFM. In the case of the same material of the heat sink, the air volume of the cooling fan is the most important indicator to measure the heat dissipation capacity of the cooling fan. Obviously, the larger the air volume, the higher the heat dissipation capacity of the cooling fan. This is because the heat capacity of the air is constant, and the greater the air volume, that is, the more air per unit time can take away more heat. Of course, under the same air volume, the heat dissipation effect is related to the way the wind flows. Generally speaking, the larger the size of the cooling fan, the larger the air volume, and the thicker the thickness is, the larger the air volume. Therefore, when we choose a high-volume cooling fan, if we can choose a larger shape, don’t choose a small one. For 4010 and 6010, you must choose 6010. If you can choose a thick one, don't choose a thin one. If you have 4010 and 4028, please choose 4028. Welcome to the heat dissipation classroom and news center of the cooling fan manufacturer again.
